Far from a ,Rabbit., as ~irassMakroFotografie has titled it as, but so similar in appearance to warrant the title, this photograph handsomely captures a beetle from the family Cerambycidae. This amount of detail can only be seen in the way it has been fantastically executed here, extraordinary in its Macro form. ( Featured by 3wyl )

This is awesome! I had no idea such an insect really existed, they really are amazing creatures. To be honest, I thought this was some macabre taxidermy at first, like... I don't know, a rabbit for the Silent Hill series or something, because at first glance this is almost surreal. The shot taken here is incredible however, such detail of a marvellous and bizarre creature. :)

Oh God, that thing is scary.
I'm like, deathly afraid of insects, I don't even know what I would do if I saw one of those. xD

But wooow, that's a a crazy awesome macro shot. Excellent job capturing the details and the focus is razor-sharp. Incredible job, very well deserved DD! c:

..... What?

No, it's just a bug which looks like a rabbit when you zoom in closely enough, and it has its antennae back.
